# Unplug it, leave it for thirty seconds then plug it back in again.
When that doesn't work hit it with a hammer to encourage the nano-goblins to get back to shoveling fuel into your data-line.

Or just a DNS error.

# Your internet tubes are blocked;
you need to lubricate them so data can get from the Kilobyte mines in Peru to your processor. I suggest using cola. Just pour it right in.

# you should probably order a new box of checkdiscs
...and a 7000RPM solid state hard drive
(, Sun 20 Jan 2013, 3:03, archived)
# Absolutely! Or, it could be your hard-drive becoming impacted...
I suggest softening it up with a rare earth magnet, just rub it over the spinny bit for a while. It'll be at super speed in no time

# Also a factory wipe -
use some acetone to scrub all that crap off of the hdd platters.

# It'll be a timeout
This page has a shitload of images on it which the browser merrily goes off and tries to download, as many as it can at once it would seem. The result is that each download winds up fighting the rest for bandwidth and eventually the browser gets fed up of waiting and stops some of the downloads on a timeout. Best thing to do is just F5. Anything that completed download won't download again which leaves more bandwidth for the stuff that didn't complete.
